The EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) came into force on 25th May 2018 as an update to the Data Protection Act.
Organisations must explain what they do with people's personal data that they hold, how long they willl hold it for, and how they keep it safe.
Brightening Minds Training stores some personal data about our course participants and the organisations we support. The amount of data and the timescales that this is stored vary according to the level of support we are required to provide.
For all participants on our training courses and all of our employees we will provide a privacy statement informing them of what personal data we need to keep, how long we keep it for and and how we store this information.
We make people aware of their right to erasure of any personal data we store about them and how we do this.
We hold a contact database of email addresses for people who have subscribed to our newsletter or purchased a service from us. The option to unsubscribe is always present in our newsletters and any contact we make with you.
